Toddler
Lesson Programs (Ages
2 1/2 to 5 years)
Tiny Blades Classes are available for children ages 2 1/2 to 5 years. Class time is 25 or 30 minutes in length where skaters learn the necessary skills to enjoy recreational skating or to enter into a hockey or figure skating program in the future. Skates can be provided on a first-come, first-serve basis with limited availability. Only single blade skates are allowed for lessons. HECC-certified hockey helmets with face cage are strongly recommended. Skaters should wear warm comfortable clothing, including gloves or mittens, that doesn't restrict movement.
Hockey Bridge Program - Marlboro location only
For children ages 3-5 that have completed the Tiny Blades program. Full hockey equipment is required.

Learn to Skate Classes are designed for beginning skaters of all ages and consist of a 25 minute group lesson followed by 25 minutes of practice time, or a 25 minute class prior to public skating with admission to the public session included for these students. When skaters complete this program, they are ready to move into our Semi-Private, SuperSkate (Marlboro location), or Learn to Play Hockey programs. Skates can be provided on a first-come, first-serve basis with limited availability. Only single blade skates are allowed for lessons. Semi
Private Classes are
designed for skaters of all ages who wish to learn at an accelerated pace.
These classes are open to skaters in Alpha and above. Participants receive a full ISI Individual
Membership and are eligible for all ISI tests
and may participate in all ISI sanctioned competitions. Upon completion of
FS 4 it is highly recommended all skaters have added private lessons to
their training.
Adult Programs
Whether you are a beginner or an experienced skater, this program will provide you with an opportunity to join other adult skaters in weekly lessons and practice time. Classes are 25 minutes with an additional 25 minutes of unsupervised practice time and may be contracted for the full session or on a pay as you go basis ($20 per lesson). Skates provided on a first-come, first-serve basis with limited availability.
