News and Results 2008 District 1 Championships, June 27-29th Congratulations to the 8 Bay State Blades ISI clubs that were represented at this year's District Champs! Clubs included teams from BSB Auburn, Brockton, Chelmsford, Fall River, Marlboro, Natick, Plymouth, & Taunton. Out of a total of 19 clubs competing, BSB Chelmsford took first place for the Percentage Trophy, while BSB Brockton, Natick and Taunton were in the top five! For overall team points, BSB Marlboro placed the highest, in 5th place! For photos and team results, click here for the District 1 website. "SKATING IN THE SHADE" now in it's 2nd Season! FMC Arenas and The SHADE Foundation invites everyone to attend the 2008 “Skating in the SHADE" free events held at 11 arenas this summer through the month of August. The goal of the SHADE events is to help eradicate Melanoma through the education of children and the community in the prevention and detection of skin cancer. “Skating in the SHADE” is a wonderful program that keeps kids cool, shaded and fit.
